US Agricultural Products Featured at July 4 Events in Chengdu and Chongqing

On June 28 and July 3, U.S. agricultural products were showcased at July 4 receptions in Chongqing and Chengdu.  Agricultural products featured at the events include U.S. pork, potatoes, spirits, beer, and snack foods; Alaska pacific cod; Northwest cherries; California walnuts, pistachios, almonds, and wines; and Puerto Rico coffee.

The July 4 events are great platforms to introduce American foods and beverages to the region¡¯s most affluent consumers, businesses, and local government officials in support of the National Export Initiative.  In total, 15 vendors donated products, making this the largest ever ATO Chengdu food and beverage promotion.  This also marks the first such promotion with the Hyatt hotel in Chongqing, and as a result, has introduced them to new recipes and American suppliers.
