WUSATA Trade Mission to Chengdu

On November 10 ¨C 12, WUSATA conducted an outbound trade mission to Chengdu, exploring the potential inland market in China. 7 companies under the lead of activity manager Ms. Rebecca Weber participated in the activity covering a wide range of products including seafood, dried fruit, tree nut, wine, confectionery, vegetable, fruit, frozen yoghurt and etc. Mr. Andy Anderson, Ms. Janet Kenefsky, Ms. Megan Samples from WUSATA also travelled to Chengdu for market check and project management.

During the stay, the companies were able to visit local market and meet with key traders as well as executive chef from star-rated hotels. Market briefing from ATO Chengdu enhanced their understanding about market status to better evaluate the marketability of their products in the region. Over 50 local buyers were invited to join in one-on-one meetings with U.S. companies, generating productive results in exporting sales.
